Many Parkinson’s treatments have challenging side effects. A new study is researching whether an investigational treatment is both as effective and safer than existing options. The study is looking for volunteers who are not currently taking medication for their Parkinson’s symptoms.
You may qualify if you:
Are between 35 and 80 years of age
Have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease
Have not been taking Parkinson’s medications for more than 4 weeks
Key benefits to the patients include:
Investigational medication
Study-related medical care by Parkinson’s disease experts
Trial lasts 14-18 weeks and requires 7 site visits
If you’ve been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the last 3 years and haven’t started medication yet, or started four weeks ago or less, a clinical trial near you may be an option.
